Frequently Asked Questions

How long can I keep the skip for?

7 days from the date of delivery, for a small extra charge we can arrange for it to be with you longer. Please speak with Customer Service team to arrange this on  0800 026 3699

What materials can I put in the skip?

Any items other than tyres, electrical items, mattresses, liquids or hazardous material. We are licensed to dispose of certain of the above-mentioned items but there will be an additional charge. Please speak with the customer service team prior to ordering your skip on 0800 026 3699

How is my skip delivered and collected?

The skip is delivered by one of our fleet of vehicles, similarly, unless you specifically choose your date of collection we will collect the skip 7 days after delivery.

Where can the skip be placed?

The skip can be placed anywhere on your land as long as there is sufficient space for our vehicle to get to. It can also go on a public road or verge, however, we would have to arrange a permit from the relevant Local Authority for this. This can all be arranged through the online booking facility or if you’re unsure one of our Customer Service Advisors will be more than happy to help you, you can call them on 0800 026 3699

Do you recycle the contents of the skip?

We process all waste and we pride ourselves on sending zero to landfill.

What does the cost of a skip include?

The cost of the skip includes delivery, disposal of material in it and collection. If required, we will also arrange a permit from the relevant Local Authority.

What access do I need to provide?

For the vehicle to safely place the skip we need approx. 3m width.

Are the skips safe on my property?

Generally speaking, we have very few problems with skip safety. Liability for the skip is with the person that hired the skip during the duration of the hire.
